Former Elementary to Middle School Math

Hi! I am happy you are here. My name is Brooklyn & I live in Sweet Home Alabama. I have both a Bachelor’s & Master’s Degree in Elementary Education K-6. I am also National Board Certified in Early Adolescence Math. For two years I taught 3rd grade math, science, and social studies. It literally was my dream!! Then I was moved to 1st grade (rather shockingly) & I did not fall in love with it. In my heart I wanted a big change, so I became certified to teach middle school mathematics and transferred to our local middle school to teach 7th grade math with my first group of 3rd graders! After a decade in the classroom, I now create math resources full time and serve teachers through my membership and virtual conferences.
